Why do they have it? Genuinely curious. I’ve seen it for years and it always stuck out like a sore thumb.
I think it’s called Survival Training or something.

The buff comes from the pet, depending on which type of pet they’re using it could be
10% Leech(Predators Thirst)
8% Movement Speed(Pathfinding)
or 5% Max Health (Endurance Training)
Most PvP hunters you run into won’t be using a Tenacity/Endurance Training pet though, in favour of a cunning pet for Pathfinding and Pet Freedom.
But it’s all situational I suppose, Spirit beasts have it, and they’re pretty popular for general play bg/dueling.
I did not know this was a thing, and it genuinely brings up the question of “why tho?”
I’m an old fart of a monk, so I still remember the general development guideline of the only thing you’re supposed to give hunter/mage/rogue/druid (and now DH i guess) are two middle fingers and a cloud of dust. It is astonishing how many problems the meta wouldn’t have if the devs adhered to that guideline.
What type of answer do you honestly expect?
I thought it would have been something like “Oh they were too squishy during ‘X’ patch or xpac, so they got some help.” Not “because class flavor.”
Stam buff means no freedom
yea basically the only time any hunter would think about using it is vs RM or double dps but even that’s probably not worth it bc you’re losing freedom for 5k hp and a small wall
