Only recently saw about this in a video, so wasnt sure if anyone else knew about it. In the Legion Hunter hall, there is a mini secret quest that in the end lets you buy a dark ranger black hood for transmog. Snagged it last night. Takes less than 2 minutes to do.
With the new NElf look, it looks really good.
Sadly there is basically no chest piece that fits it.
One thing Ive used is the double link tunic. You could also use the Season 2 gladiator set. From BC. The Tier 5 look alike. especially for the pants. I wish my avatar would update, as it shows it off pretty well

Go to the hunter lodge. Go to the BElf at the bar in the back and buy 13 of his roses. Go talk to this other female Ranger who wanders right around the center and talk to her. Go back to the BE. Looks like it ends, but the Ranger has an actual quest. You talk to the guy at the bar again and he says ‘want to see my wears?’ and he has the hood

Meanwhile, the hood sadly doesn’t even look like her’s/the T19 one. More similar to leather questing gear :\

I would suggest to go with the hood…
1 - 10man black ulduar set
B - Legion Season 1 set
3rd - The black/red Frozen Mail set (Northrend)
Fourth - Hellfire Citadel LFR set Rancorbite Armor (Not super on-point but worth considering)
No. 5 - Frostsworn Bone Mail (Recolor) with a black cape would be worth considering.
