So…What’s the normal hunter rotation for raid dps? someone indicated i don’t even use arcane, just multi and aim and somehow stagger it between lok shots or something, there’s prob a specific rythm I guess
I think its just aim shot but could be wrong, icy viens probably can help you with that
I was a hunter main in vanilla. Use aimed shot as your main ability every time it comes off cd. Get an auto attack timer and queue aimed shot immediately following an auto attack. Also use multishots right after autos too. If you’re using serpent sting or arcane shot you’re dealing less damage. Crit is you primary stat. Arcane shot will become relevant if classic moves on to Burning Crusade.
Afk auto shot and watch netflix.

This. Arcane shot is also not mana efficient IIRC. One thing to keep in mind is to avoid your aimed shot cast time to prevent you normal autoshot to fire, so time it correctly.
I like to spam Serpent Sting & get 10+ stacks rolling. 
I would also like to add that crit is pretty much worthless higher than the 24-25% range. There is a crit soft cap which adds less dps.

Yup, only use arcane if the mob is about to die and you want to pad your numbers.
