alright, so question 1:
when I retrain a pet they say that “it gets harder to feed yadda yadda”
does the price increase after each time you train the same pet or is it the same based on level?
do pets just lose a loyalty level, or do they actually permanently become harder to feed?
question 2:
Which is better Great Stamina or Natural Armour?
I have a wolf that I’m planning on using for leveling and I know that 25 points are going to Howl and 25 are going to Bite, but that leaves me with 250 points at 60
which means I can either have Stamina 8 and Armour 9 or Stamina 9 and Armour 8, and I’m not sure which would give the most EHP.
and here’s the other part: wolves have 1.05 armour and 1.0 hp does that multiply after abilities or is it before abilities?
I’d love for an expert hunter to help me out with this because I can’t find any info anywhere.
If you are solo in the world armor is decently valuable. If you plan on doing instanced content then armor is a waste as your pet shouldnt be taking physical damage.
Depending on the content you’re doing you’ll want to spec accordingly. Doing MC? Give him some fire and shadow resist. Soloing mara? Stam, touch of armor and nature resist. Killing mobs in the world? Stam armor will be just fine.

I wasn’t talking about end game content; I have no issue with giving it full fire restance in MC, I just meant which is the better stat in regards to EHP assuming it’s the only one being hit.
Ah. Gotcha. Stamina max ranked, armor to whatever rank you can afford while having your damage skills maxed. Stamina will be more effective than armor since armor has some pretty hefty DRs

The “gets harder to feed” thing is just flavour text. They don’t lose loyalty or need more food, it’s just an increasing cost like unlearning talent points only cheaper.
