Just got ganked by a hunter using a Wyvern pet that had lightning breath, the second he opens on me the pet has done 40% of my hp so I fear it and before I can kill the hunter his pet is already out of the fear and I’m dead.
Hunter pets should not be out damaging players and when you combine it with a hunter attacking you as well there is no counter play, this isn’t balanced and this is how you make players stop playing.
Fix this stupid pet nonsense.

Ill let you in on a secret, they will not need a pet at 60 to make your life even shorter once they have gear.
What in my kit would have saved me from a pet doing 40% of HP INSTANTLY and then breaking out a fear before the hunter is even at 75% hp and killing me in less then 8 seconds of total combat time?

This is just how it’s going to be at level 25 with limited kits and low amount of stats on gear leading to very fast TTKs

Hunter pets do not need to hitting for anywhere close to the damage they are.

I can assure you the pet did not do 60% of your health.
Wyvern breath hits for ~150. 220-250 if it crits.
Unless you’re massively undergeared then you’re just lying.
Maybe Pets shouldn’t ruin the game for everyone else.
Anything over 75 dmg from a Pet is really not okay at this level. Pets shouldn’t be doing a bulk of damage or outdamaging other Classes still.
