I was curious. WHen a hunter pet dies is that a perma death?
I kind of think that should be the case. Player character rezz doesn’t work, why would pet revive?
You would need to find a new pet.
What about warlock pets?
Warlock demons are summoned. How would that work? Once they die you have to relearn the skill from the trainer?

There’s an addon achievement which would require you to tame a new pet if the current one dies. There might be more to it but I don’t recall atm.
You may have to resummon; since demons may already be dead in the underworld, so when they die they would go back to the underworld and need to be summoned once again.

currently it is a HC achievement, but I do believe it should be baseline. I hope the HC servers take the revive pet skill away from hunters 
all the QQing over that on the forums would be delicious.
warlock pets are different because yes they are summoned demons. they are essentially spells, unlike hunter pets which are much more like a real character with experience, skill points, etc.

Nah, I like my pet. Besides it’s a pain at certain levels to get the same look. I’m not going to get Humar again when I’m level 50 and have to level the pet because there are no higher level cats with the same skin.
And, the pet didn’t sign up for hardcore, it had no choice!

Good question, we don’t see any troggs with mammalian baby-feeders either so maybe the ones we kill are all pre-pubescent and underground there is a broodmother poppin them out like aquarium gravel.

Dwarves came from stone until they got the curse of flesh. Pretty sure Troggs also have the curse of flesh as a derivative. If that’s whats to be believe from the Uldaman quests. Pretty sure dwarves recreate not through shaman magics nowadays.
