Hunter Pet Talent trees

Hunter Pet talent trees need to be seriously considered. It’s tragic that an overwhelming major of hunter pets are the same pet. I think Faultline is cool, but it’s been the primary pet on all my hunters for years.

This is tragic because there are so many cool models, and more pet tames are added each major patch, however they all just sit in stables because of utility.

Pet models should be purely cosmetic, and pets should have Talent trees. Add pet training quests or training manual drops to unlock specific talents in the pet trees, and then allow us to use whatever models we feel like that we have tamed without regard to utility.

This is a long time coming and should be added to the game ASAP.

They used to have the ability to choose if you wanted to have the pet tank or not. It was great, you could have a weird pet that was a tank instead of a turtle or bear. Why they changed it I have no idea.

Hunters pets could be any spec in legion. With BM I had a mechanical Squirrel and Mechanical chicken and it was fantastic because I only had to change between ferocity, tenacity or cunning for my needs. Sadly, the loud part of the forums and min-maxers didn’t like it and hunter pets changed to be only one spec again.

So blame the loud vocal hunters, not blizzard.

I don’t think it was the hunters. I think it was the people that don’t like hunters.
