Hunter Pet Skills

Not sure if a bug or if I am not fully understanding. I tamed Humar, a cat, which should be able to learn the skill ‘Bite.’ I have tamed another beast and learned Bite (skill 5) and have attempted to teach my pet this skill.

I have the necessary points needed to train, but when I click the button, nothing happens. When I try to teach other skills that the pet cannot learn, I receive an error message, but I am not getting one with Bite, and the skill is not being trained.

Any thoughts or insights?

Does your pet already know 4 abilities? I believe there is a limit.

Actually it does, I’m guessing I will have to unlearn their talents at the trainer to clear space and select the four I want to use?

Well you don’t need Prowl unless you are using that pet for Eyes of the Beast. That ability just annoys me and I always turn it off. UNLESS I want to use it for Eyes of the Beast.
