I understand if you deliberately “dismiss” the pet, the pets happiness falls. When you have your pet out and you are going to travel via flight path, your pet automatically gets “dismissed”… Does that count the same way? Pet happiness fall?
Also, is it engineering that can make the best ammo for hunters?
No, that doesn’t count as a dismiss. Also, you can use eyes of the beast to send your pet really far away from you, then break it, and it’ll despawn from distance and that doesn’t count as a dismiss either.
Yes, the engineering ammo is the best, but the AV ammo is nearly just as good as much easier to buy once you have the rep and MUCH cheaper.
Ok. Now, I have a boar, as my first and only pet… I want to abandon it to get a cat pet, and possibly go back to the Boar (for the root). I am currently level 16 w/ 40ish training points on my boar. If I abandon it, do I keep the training points when I tame another beast?
Hm, I hear Tailoring armaments are pretty good. Those [Yarn Slugs of Doom] aren’t going to crochet themselves.
You don’t keep the points-the training points accumulated are a combination of the pet’s level and loyalty/friendship level so its calculated individually per beast you have tamed.
