Hey guys,
was just wondering, if anyone here who plays a hunter, knows how to add an icon or a marker on their hunter pet(s) because it is easier to spot where my pet is during combat.
Is there an addon or weakauras for this? Ty
EDIT: is there a permanent way that i can do this without placing icons each time i join a group? Also, i dont want the other group members to see it. it is just for myself, ty
your options boil down to tame a more unique looking pet so you can spot it easier.

You don’t need to know where your pets are. If you change targets and use Barbed Shot, your pets will zoom across the room.

If you’re group lead and others are ok with it, you could put a Target Market Icon over it, but everyone would see it.
I miss when pets had the ability that teleported them behind the target.
On my hunter, I only get worried when I see “your pet is out of range of the target.” Then I dismiss them and recall them.
Just add /petattack to a macro for your main skill. It’ll tell your pet to attack that target.
Someone said unique pet. Try Thok. He’s a big boy and easy to spot.
Will have to use more macros. This could help at times though.
