i am so curious if you go into an alliance led raid can a horde toon tame grong the revenant? now that raids can be made up by both factions. where is that line drawn?
I think it’s drawn pretty clearly in WoW Classic at the character creation screen when you select a faction.
You may wish to edit your post to move it to the WoW General discussion forums not the Classic ones 
so what version of a raid is chosen when 2 factions enter the same raid. you can do that now and bfa has faction specific versions of the same raid.
That raid is one of the few exceptions. The raid has two versions based on your faction, meaning you can’t join and run it unless you are running the raid on the same faction as everyone else. So, your choices are to either faction change twice (quite pricey just to get a hunter pet), create a new hunter to tame the pet or simply accept that you can’t have both on one character if none of your other options appeal to you. I want the Alliance version myself on this guy, but I am not paying upwards of $50 to make it happen.
You can’t. Alliance only or horde only.
