Windrunner’s Guidance now drops all stacks when leaving combat。PLEASE FIX IT SOON!
Please share your wealth of knowledge
It’s simple. Hunters used to lack survivability but we picked up some important buffs along the way such as increased HP from Rejuvenating Wind, so now our survivability is much more in line with other classes.
There’s Survival of the Fittest and Nature’s Endurance.
Rejuvenating Winds and Exhiliration.
Aspect of the Turtle.
Then if you use a Tenacity pet you have Fortitude of the Bear ability, and if you use a Spirit Beast you also have Spirit Mend.
Okay so I’ll compare for you
Hunter - Survival of the fittest 3 min cooldown - later on you chose to reduce it’s CDR or make it a 40% DR.
Aspect of turtle - Immunity to spells but if you have a bleed or a dot. You get 30% DR during this tho. But guess what you can’t attack.
Exhilaration - 30% Heal and 10% HOT - 2 min cooldown reduced to about 1min to 1.5 min depending on how much focus u spend.
Fortitude of the Bear or Heal Pet. Fortitude is 2 min CD and Spirit mend is 30 second CD
Rogue - Feint 40% AOE DR , you can spec to make it a 50% DR and a 20% Single Target DR. 15 second cool down. You can further spec to make this have 2 charges.
Cloak of Shadows - 2 min immunity to magic but you can attack
Evasion 100% Dodge Chance
Crimson Vial 35% Heal 30 second cooldown and also 25% Increased heal from healing pots health stones.
Versatility is rogues main stat. They are rocking about 35-40% Vers which is a flat 17-20% DR and 35% healing increase to crimson Vial.
3% DR for your entire party
The simple 15 second 40% AOE DR and 20% DR on Feint paired with Vers main stat makes us not an STier pick
You will awake the beast if you keep posting like this.
chances are if bepples and I both agree about something it’s probably correct.
hunters are not squishy. to say hunters are the squishiest dps is just an incorrect statement. we can lie but that doesn’t mean hunters are squishy. if you believe this you’re probably forgetting something hunters have or you’re just pretending endurance training/rejuv wind doesnt exist
you forgot to mention predator’s thirst entirely
Hunters have defensive capabilities sure. But all I’m saying is it’s not enough to push the class into S Tier.
Outlaw Rogues literally walk around with constant 20% DR purely because Vers is their main stat. And then you have Feint a 15 second cooldown down ability with 2 Charges which gives 50% AOE DR and 20% DR.
On top of that magic immunity which you can attack while active and 100% Dodge for Melee targeted abilities.
Hunters do not even come close to this.
nobody is saying they are S tier
people are saying it’s not made of paper or the squishiest DPS. that’s all. people act like hunters have 0 defensives or fall over which isn’t the case
Well bro I went into a 20 Fall of Galak and felt like paper.
The mini pulsing dragons ruined me. But the time you get to the last dragon you have no defensives left.
It’s the cooldown times that hurt. If it continuous damage then you will blow through your defense quick. You need to space them out, and hope you can burn down your enemy before you use them all up.
That’s just the thing , pair that with type of damage that is more present its very punishing.
Most of pulsing AOE damage is magic in M+ so DHs enjoy their 15% magic DR passive while living in 20% leech. And then. 20% DR on a 1 min CD big sadge.
People calling for nerfs to our damage don’t seem to understand that that’s the only thing currently keeping us invited in keys in the pug scenario. If they need BM ggwp we will be sitting in ques all day haha. It doesn’t bother me much tho since I just play whatever is A tier
This was a PvP change to FD to not clear DoTs. Classes that use damage was from damage over time abilities thought all their effort into building them up was unfairly wasted by FD eraser.
Other classes viewed that Hunters being ranged made us too powerful to fight.
It’s “rot” damage that sucks for hunters. Last boss of Tides is a great example. Hit Turtle to see its completely useless against black crap on floor.
To be fair predators thirst is completely useless for bm at least since it heals the pets
but i feel pretty tanky tbh compared to when i played in the first season with a spirit beast
let me be clear where I do think bm should benefit from leech and I think it’s bonkers it doesn’t
yeah i think all pet classes should, demo and unholy (somewhat) get screwed by that as well
Hi again. It’s been a week since you posted this.
BM is still a highly represented and well-performing spec in both raids and M+.
Do you admit you overreacted?
Ill tell ya what. You admit to being a egotistical douchebag, and ill admit I overreacted.
I know you just wanna be “Seee I told you so” because thats a big thing for you and your ego. So I know what your true purpose is here.
I think I’m finally dropping Hunter. Sorry to say that after playing it for… well, since MoP, it’s time that I leave this class in the trash.
After spending several hours playing Balance Druid, I’m wondering why I played Hunter for so long. For one, the Balance Talent tree allows me to pick up AoE and ST without sacrificing either to do so. And in the same breath, there’s only like… 3-4 two point nodes in the entire tree. I can fill out most of the entire tree and do really well, while MM Hunter is lucky to push into just one end of the tree and a bit more, because it has 10 two point nodes, and so many of these are just outright horrible.
Not to mention that I can be a really effective, mobile caster without needing to worry about working Aimed Shot in. I just spam Sunfire/Moonfire to spread it to as many mobs as possible, and when I cap Astral Power, Starfall to stack on the DPS. Not to mention Shapeshifting to fit my needs, and the ability to heal in a pinch… And I’m not worrying about RNG lock and loads, RNG Aimed Shots giving me either 1 or 2 buffed Arcane/Chim shots, RNG Death Blows, RNG this, RNG that…
Sorry guys. But I think it’s time to hang up the cape on this one and move to a different class, until Blizzard actually does something.
