Hunter pet will not respond to Wake Up command after hitting Play Dead ability. I have only had it happen as Beast Master spec, in arenas. Since I cannot dismiss pet in an arena, i cannot resummon the pet or a new one, so i become useless and lose arenas I could have won.

Is this happening to all of your pets or just one?
So far only ravasaur, but I rarely run any other pets aside from Reban. When it happens it is both my main pet and talent pet.
Alright - are you using a macro or just the standard buttons? And are you using custom bars or buttons of any kind (i.e. Elvui, Bartender etc.)?
My best guess at this point would be that something is going wrong with your buttons. To rule this out, I would try running an arena without any addons enabled and look to see if the buttons work for you then.
I’ll try having Play Dead on a separate button, currently it’s bound to my feign death to drop combat.
I’m also going to separately test if running the single pet talent has any effect.
Please post your findings once you do! I’m curious now

Any luck? Just wondering the fix.
Didn’t happen at all during my last queue session, and I hadn’t changed anything. If I queue again tonight I’ll unbind it from feign first, then next I’ll run single pet.

Glad it seems to have worked out! Sometimes these small bugs get fixed when blizzard/addon developers make small updates each week.
