Curious as it has been a problem in world pvp, I set my pet to attack and it stops a lot of the times while attacking, it runs back or just sits there and I lose most fights because my does no damage or attacks, it is getting very annoying…
The pet AI has always been rubbish, I suggest looking into integrating a /petattack macro into your main abilities so that it focuses on a target of your choice and continues to stick to it (or changes automatically to a new one).
