You could be a heavy gnome 
Hard to say what might look great specifically for gnomes. I think there are some nice pvp mog sets that can be obtained fairly easily. Considering you can do as much pvp as you can stomach to earn marks of honor to get complete sets. Unlike running old raids you can only do once a week, you can get the pvp sets much faster.
Wowhead website has a nice transmog section. You can sort the mog sets by those from raids, pvp, quests, you can view them in a gallery which is nice. If you mouse over a set it enlarges it to see it in better detail. You can also change the race to see what each set would look like on a gnome.
The in game appearances feature is nice as well, and you can filter to see just pieces or sets you’ve unlocked, or only those you haven’t obtained yet.
I honestly don’t like any of the hunter mogs besides Demonstalker.
That’s why I’m sporting this noble outfit. I’d rather look classy than chunky.
