Hunter Macro Help

Is there a way to make a volley macro that will drop volley on your current target rather than having to place that stupid green target ring?

I would just make a macro and place it at where your cursor is placed. I do that with all traps and it works good.

#showtooltip
/cast [@cursor] Volley

I hear ya! Have you considered using macro rotations? They are legal to use and make the game much more fun for people like me with physical disabilities. I use macros from wow lazy macros.

It’s an addon you download. Pretty easy.

Thanks, I’ll check it out

@player and @cursor are really the only macro options available for target reticle spells. @target would involve too much fun.

Does

#showtooltip
/cast [@target] Volley

Not work?

Edit: I see

There was a brief glitch in a SL build where just holding Alt-KeyBind would drop a reticle spell (like Volley) on your current target, but Blizz never intended that, fun was detected and it was hot-fixed in a few days.

As Theodas said only @player and @cursor work as conditionals for a reticle type spell. Dumb, but I guess working as Blizz intends.

It did for a few weeks back during Shadowlands but was disabled.

They should really add an Accessibility option to “Center reticles on current target, if available.”

Reticles are kind of outdated now, anyway.

I can see where they could come in handy for some of those top end players but for an average joe like me it really throws off my flow and causes me issues having to try and place that while following my rotation, especially when running keys
