Respawn ontop of a clothie or any player low health, sic your pet on them while you are still invisible and immune, bestial wrath if needed and let your pet collect you free points! Careful not to get too greedy and send pet too soon or he may die while you are unable to help. They don’t want to let us rez our pets during this event I encourage the most toxic gameplay available to hunters under the current ruleset.
Did PvP happen in a PvP battleground?
Any melee class can do this
If you are solo or in a group but got layered this is an efficient way to get up to 300pts solo during the event!
I would offer you a hug but male gnomes are super-creepy.
Yes, but I remain invisible and immune while my pet collects an opening kill or two before I even start fighting again
do you know if you get more points for being solo? and as you get a hit marker but someone else not in your party gets the KB do you still get coins?
Don’t think you get more points for solo, seems like you lose less when you die though.
this is terrible advice, most players if not all will 100% kill your pet before it kills them and not only will you spawn with no pet, but also have to waste mana and time rezzing it and feeding it.
That’s why you only use it when you have 5-8s tell your immunity wears off. It is also very easy to solo a clothy with bestial wrath up. Mage is a free kill, can’t put any cc on pet and you can run after him at 60% movement speed.
I do a LOT of hunter PvP in STV, there are so many fun things to do during Bloodmoon. If you stand exactly at the flight master platform in Booty Bay, you can attack people as they fly in, and guards won’t assist or attack (you can’t leave the platform, as a note). You can even sit in eyes of the beast as your pet, with your hunter in 1 of 100 hiding spots in booty bay, you don’t even need to be physically standing in Booty Bay.
Same thing with basically every altar in STV, there is an overlook/hill/cliff/large tree you can hide behind, throw up Track Hidden and Aspect of the Beast, set a freezing trap at your feet, Pre-pop Kill Command+ Bestial Wrath, then eyes of the beast and stealth/dash in and delete people. My PET has gotten over 400 blood coins during bloodmoon, literally all eyes of the beast play.
In all seriousness I get a lot more coins when I play seriously (not as my pet), but for beginner PvP’ers the above strategy is absolutely valid and viable for solo play.
