Hunter flying pets should fly besides you

Shouldnt hunter flying pets be able to fly besides you when mounted in the air? Seems like the most logical idea ever

I mean, they can’t tell the difference between a bee and a wasp, and they made birds of prey cunning… something tells me biology and A&P are not their strong suits…

I always thought that BM should be able to have their pets (if they’re big enough) be mounts as well.

Pre Pandaria they did. Hunters were amazing on the flying ship fight because their pets could fly and help kill the airborne dragons. No reason was given for grounding them.

Too many people would lose their sh… if they did that. Saying its not fairrrrrrrrrr.

i agree, just like we could in UO with the black stallion.

Something that you can try is use animal companion and make the second pet a flying one, it actually will fly with you for a time before it disappears when you go into the air.
