Hey there, I’m sorry if this has been posted before, but I’m playing Hardcore as a Hunter and I saw some posts talking about Feign Deth will actually kill you. I just wanted to post this to understand everything before I use the ability.
Feign Deth is a Hunter ability to “pretend” to die and you exit combat.
If you wait the entire 6 minutes, you will actually die, your character doesn’t actually get up again.
Can anyone else confirm this? That you ONLY die if you wait the full 6 minutes? But will still be alive if you do not wait the full time? I do not want to accidentally kill myself.
That is correct hunters can stop their heart and go without breathing for six minutes, if they don’t get up, they die. Its not dangerous in any other way.
People should always be skeptical about anything that can cause them to die, especially if one person is tell you its safe, while others indicate its not. While most people try to help, there are always a few who get pleasure out of griefing others. Always be cautious in HC.
Personally if I am concerned about something, I will usually test it on an alt on a normal server, or if thats not a possibility, I simply wont do it. Fortunately there are only a few things like this where the outcome is in question, FD is one of them if you don’t know it will kill you, and yes it willif you wait the entire time.
