Hunter Class needs new Devs and Modernization

I have been playing WoW over 20 years with many Characters and their specs. Unfortunately, my main is hunter. Sadly, Hunter class is not the one gets paying attention since from WotLK and gap between other dps classes/specs are huge. Here is some issues that i believe urgently should get solved by Blizzard.

Note: All issues are about current patch and season

1 - Biggest issue is hunter AoE damage as BM and, MM is heavily depends on CD’s

2 - Spec. Talent tree for BM and MM should get change, there is no way to reach out to crucial talents without giving points to useless ones for related spec.

3 - Main Talent tree is heavily aiming survival abilities and CC’s. There is almost no dps supporting talents on tree if you consider this class as pure dps and compare with other classes and their specs!

4 - Pack Leader is very useless instead of Delves. Even in Delves, personally I am using it to maintain pets survivability. Again, no valuable dps as Pack Leader. Possible to do some (SOME), if CD’s are NOT on cooldown.

5 - Dark Ranger is nothing but single target. No way to play with AOE spec. at all. If hunter needs to do AOE with this spec, they should wait for 2 min or sacrifice lots of single target dps talents. So, there is NO balance!

6 - MM is all about CD’s and casting time. Dps is somehow (SOMEHOW) manageable with heavily haste build. So, it means no crit for MM. Unfortunately, this spec is NOT playable without crit. Again, NO balance!

Questions:

1- Devs did same thing for Shaman class and they fixed with this patch. What is Blizzard aim? We should all play with Paladin, Mage or Demon Hunter or what class/spec fixed on related patch? It is well known for many players that mentioned classes have an agreement with Blizzard Devs to be good for all patches.
So, Blizzard keep this habit on this patch too which is no balance between the classes for diversity?

8 - It’s obvious that Hunter Dev team needs to some restructuring. They are either miscalculate or not paying enough attention to their responsible class/spec. Blizzard is consider about restructuring or not?

well said. 100% agree. I have two lvl 80’s; Paladin and Hunter. I love playing my Hunter so much more than my pally but i can’t PvE with my Hunter cause its just awful. So my Hunter is forced to stay PvP only and Pally is PvE only.

I have paladin char too and love to play with it. But seriously, dominance of this character for every single patch is makes me feel sick. Because of lots of Blizzard employee plays with Paladin. Literally, in every patch they are dominating with one of their spec, either tank, dps or heal! Now, they are dominating with dps.

Except all of them are so short they are up for basically every pull anyway

Idek wtf you’re on about here but again mm cds are super short and you don’t need haste lol

In fairness you made some valid points too but the crazy ones are doing a disservice to the valid ones.

BM Hunters are force to use Call of the Wild rather you like it or not for as AOE damage. There is no other option. My only option is to play MM since BM Hunter is terrible at the moment. Dark Ranger is getting rework , especially for MM Hunters.

If 1.5 min for trueshot is super short for you or focus cost of multishot or waiting for rapid fire cd when you consider all new contents on TWW and compare with other dps class/spec, There is nothing to say, happy playing!

The f. i am talking about this: To fill up MM the focus, we are NOT CASTING steady shot or aimed shot to do damage. I suggest that to hover the mouse on haste and read what it says.

Same level of fairness and respect, There is nothing crazy but what issues that i faced with.

Please do not respond if you going to comment with that language and contemptuous attitude like this. Again, These are my points of issue about the class, you can agree or not i will respect that, but not with that attitude and language. Thanks!

It’s way closer to 1m tbh we get so much cdr

Or I can just use aimed shot when I can’t use rapid fire

I think hunters are in a great spot. BM’s single target is crazy. Their AI pet does 60-70% of the damage. If they buff AOE damage, I don’t think it’s fair for a AI pet to do 60-70% of a class’ damage.
