Does this build seem any good? What are your thoughts? Is the lack of Trueshot Aura going to hurt my damage too much? Will the pet damage increase make up for that?

With how far I went into Marks I would think it would still work, better than a purely BM build. Though maybe this is a normal BM build, I usually went full marks on my hunter, but am wondering how much of a loss I’ll see from just dropping a few things and bringing in some pet damage.
You gain more benefit by going into SV.

I always though of True shot as more of a Raid buff, never really missed it as long as I had my wolf for furious howl.
Yeah, but isn’t it just ranged attack power, so really only a benefit to other hunters. At which point you’d only need the one.
Is your goal to pvp with this build? If so then I think giving up beastial wrath would be too much for scatter shot. Maybe consider stopping after intimidation and putting points into improved wing clip, humanoid damage, and improved traps
First of all just remember your pet at 60 is pretty much going to do the same damage the entire game because hunter pets do not scale with the hunter.
I would never go BM without bestial wrath though. Just personal preference.
The scatter shot grab is for extra peel on top of intimidation.
For PvP I’m gonna go 0/21/30
In marksman scatter shot is a good tool. In the survival tree I like the idea of grabbing 5/5 Lightning Reflexes.
would going that deep in surv outweigh trueshot?
Trueshot adds 50 AP, you’ll get more AP (with the right gear) with a overall 15% agility.

At 60 isn’t trueshot 200 ap?

I said the wrong information it’s 100 AP at rank 3
So to get equal ap out of the agi, you’d have to have 400 something, you’d also be losing 2 of these increased serpent sting, arcane shot cd, or hunters mark ap increase. You’d also lose multishot increase and the 5% ranged dmg.

Make of your hunter whatever you want. I have a plan for Survival. It’s going to be sweet, and weird, and take a while before it comes together; but I’ll look forward to each talent point, and it won’t be at all boring.
Just have fun. You can always respec later. I set lvl 40 as my first test. If I still want to do my build, fine. If I want to respec, it’s just 1 gold the first time, which I’ll have by 40.
