Hunter bots in DMT

Does anyone know exactly what these bots do in DMT solo?

They just solo the last boss. They use engineering to get the last door open, and they basically just run thru using feign death to de-aggro all the mobs. Then they use some ledge-jumping shenanigans to forever kite the king while shooting him, then loot the chest.

Then they either DE or vendor the items in the chest, and sell the major mana pots on your AH for far less than the mats to craft them.

Fix the kiting issue and it won’t be a problem.

I don’t think they are bots they are just chinese farmers. They will sell you buffs if you whisper them.

It’s everything. Some people are farming, some people are selling DMT loot, some people are selling buffs, and some people are chinese farmers that may be doing some fancy sales as well.

How do you know they are bots?

they also sell the items to people, you dont have to be in the instance when the boss dies to be able to loot the chest. just an fyi

Avoiding the pvp for one. For another probably farming gold.
You sure they’re bots and not just carebears hiding from the pvp on pvp servers?

Ya just because someone spends a lot of time inside a dungeon, doesn’t mean they’re a bot. Classic is a farming game.

I dont think there are bots soloing the king in DMT my man… Maybe they are botting something else but even the King requires some realtime adjustments. Some elements of the fight are somewhat random.

True, and hunters running tributes do this often.

Bots do not sell the items in the chest to players. Although, yea, I doubt there are very many bots doing the tribs just yet.

Because this.

I know two hunters who spend a ton of time in DMT, really doesn’t seem like it’s bots doing it, because the ones selling to people are not bots, they don’t wanna have to wait for a person, they just reset and go.

They’re all obscurely named, unguided hunters that will pop out and instantly turn around to zone back in faster than normal people can zone out and reset. It looks scripted.

In this instance I doubt it’s bots.

I don’t think a bot could successfully do the aggro jumps.
