what guides do yous recommend. I keep seeing that Icy Veins and WoWhead are trash but what other lists are there? Any help?
Not really. Wowhead’s guides on BiS lists are pretty legit. But you should also educate yourself on stat priority so you know what makes BiS BiS. The main thing is prioritizing hit to cap at 9% (7% if troll).
In my case on my Orc hunter that I use exclusively for solo tribute runs 7% is hit cap because I only care about 62 mobs (AKA King Gordok) where that’s the cap.

8/8 tier 1 is really good for that 15% multishot damage. So you probably don’t want to replace that until you have at least 3/8 t2.
Dont worry about it. All of your BIS list except for the ranged weapon and set armor are rogue/war prio so you wont ever get them anyway.

I heard t2 is bad compared to t1.
Full Tier 1 with ACS from BWL or Rhok’delar from MC. 2x Tarnished Elven Ring. DM Book trinket, Blackhand’s Breadth. 2x Boneslicing Hatchets if you can afford 2x 15 agility enchant, Barbarous Blade with 15 agility if you can’t afford 2x 15 agility enchant. Onyxia neck.
You’ll never ever get rings, trinkets, or weapons because Rogues and Warriors exist.

BiS lists are for squares. Learn your class stat prios and start collecting the raid gear that makes the most sense for you to have.
Yeah I’d learn stat priority and then looks at BIS lists and make decisions for yourself based on that.
My main is a Mage and some lists will only show the item with +27 sp that only has sp and not even mention the item with +24sp 15 sta and 22 int for example.
You think you’ll get a DFT anytime soon? Or anything from AQ/Naxx? Nah, it has to go to Warriors/Rogues because they’re the REAL DPS.
Its payback for all the times hunters have wiped their parties by jumping off ledges without dismissing their pet first.

For PreBiS the wowhead type guides are pretty decent. You want 9% hit (6% with bow as troll or gun as dwarf) and can just assume 1 crit is about 32 ap as the most simple stat weight.
MC BiS is really just t1, ony neck, Rhok and if you are in a weird guild that lets hunters get non set loot maybe qsr, accuria, brut blade, cht.
BWL BiS is rerolling to a better class because t2 is garbage and even the best possible ST set with rank 13 gear and t2 mixed pieces isn’t that much of an upgrade from t1 and is worse on any fight with more than 1 mob.
I got Ony neck, don julio’s ring on my hunter. =) 7/8 t1 only missing pants and I have t2 helm/pants.
I will agree rings, trinkets will be hard to come by. Best thing you can do is pug it and hope rngzus is on ur side that night.

We actually prio Band of Accuria to hunters over fury warr because we prio QSR to fury warrs…
