/cast !Auto Shot
If you spam this, your hunter’s arm will glitch like mad, look like it is stopping and starting, but the shots will go out on time.
Is this for retail or classic hunter?
If this is for retail (BFA) it is not needed since the !Auto Shot is toggling it on/off and thus freezing or glitch your Auto Shoat cast animation.
If this macro is meant for Classic WOW then in order to use this macro you need to stand still as your Auto Shot timer if about to come up. I could be wrong on this statement since it been over 12 years.
Hmm… doesn’t the exclamation mark force an “on state”?
For example, consider the following:

/cast !flare
This will have it such that as you spam the button rather than toggle on and off the casting circle, it keeps “toggling” (for lack of a better word) the flare on.
A more fun example is the following.
#showtooltip
/cast !Eagle Eye
This allows you to re-cast eagle eye while mid eagle eye. This is because the exclamation mark skips the default option of toggling the cast off and enables you to cast from the location you’re viewing. You can, for example, have a view from blackrock mountain’s peak from Westfall if you try hard enough.
