Well I think its completely trash to nerf Hunters so quickly considering both factions can use them. Just like when they nerfed boomkins and shamans instantly shot up the tier list. Pretty sure its gonna repeat itself.
I hope this (-Cant be used on player controlled units) somehow extends to shamans 30% bonus hp or their 80% avoidance.
Well you can still spam kill shot but the lil killshots donāt happen in pvp anymore. So itās still good. But its not nearly as busted as it was. People will still complain tho cuz when you crit a squishy with kill shot it does big dam. But I think it is balanced now since it is not as strong vs targets with armor. Also the fact that you give up lnl and rapid fire can be dispelled and you need to give up 4 pieces of pvp gear to get it.
That being said I saw some spriest obliterating people with their 4 set and I am sure boomkins and shams are soon to be on the horizon as well. So far every shaman I have seen with a 2.5 tho has been enh and they just die in a global. Poor enh fellas.
hunters should rope
Itās wild that Hunters are the only class that will get nerfed in PVP within two days of people finding something strong with their abilities. Blizzard lets Shamans, Priests, and Druids be stupid OP for entire phases. Now the entire ranged Hunter 2.5 set is completely useless in PVP, while all other classes can take advantage of their set bonuses in all forms of WoW content.
The set bonus designer needs to be relocated to retail WoW or something, because heās incredibly incompetent to begin with. He was the one who had the bright idea of designing the set around a completely useless Hunter ability. Thankfully Zirene was able to step in and tell him that KS did zero damage.

Its not conpletely useless, being able to spam kill shots is still good. But it is funny how quickly it gets nerfed. Meanwhile spriests, shammys, and boomies gonna be obliterating with their set bounuses. They should make the hunter 2 set work against players now since they removed the mg42.
That being said I do like the new rotation in pve i have always hated sniper training even after the buff to it. Also being able to shoot things in your deadzone is nice as well.
yeah i dont understand the logic behind removing the pvp ability of hunter set and not other classes, but logic seems to be sparse among these devsā¦

Cuz when hunters are busted they get INSTA nerfed. And other classes get to stay OP forever.
and yet druids are still running around casting instant starfire and taking 30% of my hp instantly with starfall? i think chatgpt could do a better job than these devs tbh
anyone with half a brain and two chromosomes to rub together couldāve seen how OP the set was before it launched, and yet they did it anyway; what does that tell you about these devās intelligence?
why this is a bad idea
why is what a bad idea? no one is arguing the set bonus wasnāt overtuned; in fact virtually EVERY SINGLE HUNTER ON THE DISCORD TOLD THEM IT WAS OVERTUNED.
i donāt know what these devs are doing anymore but they need to pull their head out of the sand and start doing their job or give it to someone who can do it.
Wait tell they dot you up, starfall and burrow underground with the new aq trinket becoming unattackable!
druids have been out of control for 2+ phases and yet every time hunter gets close to their level of power they are instantly nerfed
i really hope they get rid of these devs and find better ones =[ these devs have dropped the ball so many times; itās like they self sabotage.
did aggrend speak to a mcdonalds manager and find out they get paid more so is just coasting it now until he gets canned?
did i mention that ele shaman is doing 1k + dps over the top hunter spec right now in the lower percentile? i think the devs are actually missing some chromosomes honestly.
