Hunt Shadehounds - SL Maw Event - Bugged Again or Still

Blizzard, please fix this or just make the mob perma-spawned at the bottom of the cave nearby on a 15 minute or less respawn timer with a 1-per-day kill-chance drop. Or at least weekly reset if not daily for the chance.

Hunt: Shadehounds is bugged and will not progress. 1/23/2025.

Yet another Shadowlands event that frequently bugged and stil bugs fairly often.

Hunt: Shadehounds event for the chance at the Mawsword Soulhunter Mount

Cleared the area around the event. Killed any nearby rares. No luck.

The Elite is up. Sat around for a long time doing other tasks nearby and the Mawsworn Houndwrangler NPC just continues to spam, “We’re losing control of the beast!” , “Hold it back!” and “I can’t hold it much longer.” yet zero progression even with all nearby mobs cleared.

The fact that it’s 2025 and still frequently bugs out is frustrating this is still a problem.

Necroing this thread cause it’s still bugged.
The Shadehound is there fighting the NPCs, but nothing is happening at all.

Both ‘Tormentors of Torghast’ and ‘Wrath of the Jailer’ seem bugged. Couldn’t do either on my paladin today.
