I play human to live out my fantasy of having enhanced stealth detection and +5 skill with swords and maces.
Weapon skill still makes them the best race.

I would argue the ability to come up with an interesting character for the perceived “boring” race is a much greater sign of creativity and originality than “pretty elf boy”
