Can some give me some advice on Proffessions and Spec for leveling?

go mining and blacksmith. the real pvp classes are gonna need armor

Do the quests, and run the dungeons as much as you can. I can’t remember, but maybe get tabards that give rep when you run the dungeons. If your going Lock then do enchanting/Tailoring they pair well together and you can make good money off of both

Enchanting/Tailoring

I would go with tailor/chant if it were me on a pve server.

Pvp server would be min/eng.

There are different opinions, so.

Thanks for the help guys!

Stack strength. You need your spells to be strong.

You can level as affliction up to 30 points. It’s smooth and effective.

You can also spec demo for leveling and boost your pet’s effectiveness, but I’d still recommand to put your first 5 points into Improved Corruption in Affliction tree because having to cast that dot is the most annoying thing ever.

Depends what you want out of it. Many say Tailor/Engineering. I will probably do Tailor/Enchanting. But you can do whatever, Herbalism/Alchemy wouldn’t be bad. You could be a gather with Skinning/Herbalism but the market may be flooded for awhile. It is really up to you.

so what does that first 5 points in corruption do for you?

It makes Corruption instant cast

Awsome! didn’t know that I love it thankyou

Tailor/Enchant. Enchant is the 5head move even if on a PvP server. You can drop Tailor for Engi if PvP. At 60 if you are soloing mobs for money you will be getting a lot of greens/blues that aren’t valuable enough to have to run to the nearest mailbox/bank so you can sell them. Disenchanting stuff is the way to go, and enchanting is profitable enough as well.

Corrpution baseline has a 2 sec cast time, for a dot it’s quite annoying, the 5 points makes it instant cast.

I second this. You can craft a set of Shadow damage gear in your 30s that will take you to your 50s. Smart choice.
