Human Starting Experience: Stormwind Civil War
After being knighted by the Order of the Silver Hand, the Human seeks to help the people of Azeroth. He seeks to help by using his power in the Holy Light, to bring retribution to all those who threatened Azeroth’s future. This story begins in the Eastern Kingdoms, in the Chapel in Northshire. Just two years after the Dragon Flights defeat the Primal Incarnates and the events of Dragonflight.
Summary: Part 1 follows the hero as they are being knighted by the Order of the Silver Hand. Part 2 picks up with our heroes going to Stormwind as they try to change the Alliance’s Attitudes toward the Horde. In Part 3, the heroes learn that a new faction led by a not-so-noble general wants to rule Stormwind in the power vacuum left by King Anduin Wrynn. He also plans to strike out against the Horde; ending the Armistice. Part 4 concludes the arc with the General defeated and learning that the General had the aid of what remained of the Defias Brotherhood and its leaders. Then King Anduin Wrynn returns to Stormwind and returns to the throne.
Part 1: The Knighting Ceremony
Quest Giver: Lord Commander Turalyon
Lineage - “Hail, hero. I am so glad to be knighting you soon, I know that you were inducted into the Order for some time as a squire. But now you have come into your own. But I must know, where are you from? And how did you get here?”
Objective: Notify Turalyon about your lineage.
- This has cosmetic effects on the narrative. This can be changed later by speaking to Turalyon.
Quest Giver: Lord Commander Turalyon
The Knighting Ceremony - “I can only imagine what you must have been through, the suffering you endured. But I promise you that you will find a place here. Come, hero. We must knight you into the Order.”
Objective: Be knighted into the Order of the Silver Hand.
Note: This is a cutscene.
Turalyon: This squire has stood through so many trials and tribulations to get to this point. He has withstood every challenge thrown at him.
You kneel in front of Turalyon
Turalyon: Do you swear to uphold the values and traditions of the Light?
You swore.
Turalyon: Do you swear to do all that is holy and just?
You swore.
Do you swear to protect the innocent and bring retribution to all who seek them harm?
You swore.
Turalyon: Then on this day, you are made… Knight of the Silver Hand.
Quest Giver: Lord Commander Turalyon
Aftermath - “You have come far, I am proud to have knighted you into the Order, though I wish I could speak with you further; I have pressing matters I have to attend to. Go speak to your trainer, he may train you in abilities that you otherwise don’t have access to, then you may have your leave to visit Stormwind. Dismissed, hero.”
Note: This is your last chance to change your lineage. You will not have another opportunity.
