I agree. I think the Jimmie Rodgers line is what might have thrown me off to thinking it was just a song about southern blues singers in general. Huh.

“Good point. I don’t know who Jimmy Rogers is, from the name. I am sure I have heard his stuff before, though.”

He’s pretty historic as a country/blues singer and often went epic on the yodeling. Not a whole lot of folks know his music any longer. A couple of the more well known songs are In the Jailhouse Now (1928) and Waiting for a Train (1928); Honeycomb (1957) and Kisses Sweeter than Wine (also '57).

My grandad used to work the railroad and often listened to him. That’s honestly the only reason I know a little bit about his history. He and Elvis were both Mississippi born natives

Here’s one of many of his songs, yodels included. Your pets might get a little sporty about it, mine do.

If you don’t already do this, try adding a handful of Ritz or butter crackers to your meatballs and meatloaf. The texture changes them into magic. You still add whichever binder you prefer - breadcrumbs, oats etc. Just a few of those crackers changes it from meat balls to amazeballs.

im sorry nothing can save meatloaf.

That will make a nice tauren name.

You poor thing. Meatloaf is one of the most versatile dishes in the world. You can stuff it with so many delicious things. You can make it out of all kinds of different meats. If you don’t like meatloaf, it’s because you’re making it wrong.

‘I like the way they do it over here in the US of A. I’ve had the Aussie version, whatever sauce it is they make over here for it it’s absolutely amazing. The stuff is like liquid <.insert highly desirable object here.>’

‘You’re right about the crunch factor by the way. That was a really great idea, I sincerely appreciate that’
