Can a fresh human boosted to 60 get the heritage armor?
I am getting conflicting messages from the people.

as long as theyre human they can get the quest started
my pally was a bunch of races before they became human
but i think you have to be 70

got to be level 50 i think but main thing you need for regular races is Exalted rep if i am not mistaken with stormwind. if you need to get rep just get the tabard and you can either do quests or run old dungeons to get the rep. dungeons i think is faster but idk.
it is ONLY the allied races heritage armor that you CANNOT boost to obtain them. for allied races you MUST manually level them to 50; boosting will not count unless this was removed which i dont think it was

You need exalted stormwind rep and be at least level 50.
Its the allied races that are the “you have to level them from scratch” ones

If you aren’t exalted Grab a SW tabard and go outland. Head to the Neitherstorm zone and run either The Botanica or The Mechanar on normal. Both are short, have lots of mobs and most important, an exit portal at the last boss. Fast and easy rep. 6-8 times through either and you should be exalted.

Because right now the answer is no.
In a month, when 10.1 comes out, the answer will be yes.
Right now, there’s an Exalted with Stormwind requirement. That is being removed in 10.1.

She’s Human, was boosted in Shadowlands, was level 60 when I did the quests and did thee above to get exalted with SW. Shee’s is currently moged to the blue and brown set even if the armoury doesn’t want to show it right now…
Yes. You just have to get them exalted with stormwind first in order to begin the questline. The means by which they leveled does not matter. Nor does it matter if they were a different race while leveling and were later race changed.
Only allied races are required to be leveled from scratch in order to receive their heritage armor. And they just receive it. No questline involved.
o.O i am also an orc/horde player. only reason i know is because the other regular races have the same requirement. I did not know about 10.1 stuff though as i didn’t read it and just got back to the game 2-3 days ago and leveling a new toon so didn’t really bother to read it
Right now no you have to be exalted with Stormwind on them however hearing rumours that this will no longer be the case in a future patch.
