What a crazy week it’s been for celebrities passing away this week. First it was Ozzy Osbourne. And now I read news on my news feed this morning that Hulk Hogan passed at a hospital at the age of 71.
Early days of VCR cassette movie rental stores in Louisville Kentucky , desperately looking for a movie we haven’t watched already , came across Suburban Commando with Christopher Lloyd and Hulk Hogan.
Did not know what to expect as both actors were out of character. Chris played a normal average American citizen in suburbia and Hulk played a space ranger that crash landed in his neighborhood,
I don’t know if Netflix has it , but it is a fun 90s movie and Hulk did put a little effort in to being an alien and not just Hulk Hogan in a spacesuit.
Hogan was a hero in the 80’s and became a villain in the 2009’s once we realized how big a piece of trash he is. I’m sorry for his family, but honestly he won’t be missed.
A true cultural icon. Probably played politics a few too many times behind the scenes, but he made everyone in that business more money. Had a bad moment with some regrettable comments, but people make mistakes and he seemed to regret it. The guy was definitely quite a character.
