Hey all,
I just wanted to express my sincere thanks to the devs for adding the Single‑Button Assistant in the latest patch. For some players, it might seem like a minor feature or just a new accessibility toggle—but for me, it’s a game-changer.
I have a disability called Arthrogryposis, which affects my joints and limits my ability to use traditional control setups. As WoW has evolved with faster-paced combat, more complex rotations, and movement-heavy mechanics, it became increasingly hard for me to keep up. Despite loving this game and world, I often felt like a liability when playing with friends, or like I needed to sit things out to avoid dragging the group down.
With this new assistant, for the first time in a long time, I feel like I can truly play again. I can focus more on the fights and teamwork, instead of struggling with inputs and keybinds. I’m not just pressing random buttons and hoping—I’m engaged, I’m contributing, and I’m having fun with my friends instead of behind them.
I understand some players might see this as a “crutch” or something that makes the game easier, but I hope folks can recognize that it’s really about accessibility and inclusion. For players like me, it doesn’t make things easy—it makes them possible.
I’m hopeful this tool continues to be improved over time, and that we keep seeing features like this that let more people enjoy the game they love in a way that works for them.
