Certain mechanics of Spotter’s Mark and related talents are currently being shared among hunters attacking the same target, and combined with a bug with On Target where Spotter’s Mark will not be consumed if On Target is at max stacks, it can cause large swing in MM dps according to how many are in a group due to increased Spotter’s Mark uptimes
- hunters are sharing the up/down check benefits from multiple Spotter’s Marks
This can be seen by a hunter gaining 2 On Target stacks from their Aimed Shot hitting a target with 2 hunter’s Spotter’s Mark on it:

there are a few other talents that are based off this Spotter’s Mark check such as Calling the Shots; logs with multiple MM’s can be seen with much shorter cooldowns on Trueshot than would be possible solo
- Spotters Mark is not being consumed if On Target is at max stacks
This can be seen here where after gaining 4 stacks on On Target, the Aimed Shot that would normally consume the Spotter’s Mark does not consume it and leaves it to be refreshed shortly after:

These mechanics cause each additional MM added to a group to increase each other’s output, scaling higher the more you add. If these are fixed, we hope it comes along with tuning to MM’s damage since so far MM’s data across the game has been positively influenced by quite a bit in some cases depending on group composition.
