I bought 6-7 Cache at an inflated rate to get 2-3 of my Garrisons up to Level 3 so I would have more chances to Farm Minion of Grumpus.
It worked for my Level 47 – Tier 3 Garrison instantly.
However, it did not work for my Level 22.
I get a message in red text that states –
“You are too low a level to use that item”
However, the text on the Huge Ogre Cache says,
“Requires Level 10” (I’m a 22)
… makes no sense.
Can anyone explain?
it’s a bug I Guess. Report it to Blizzard, maybe they’ll fix it hopefully.
Unintended consequences of the squishes. I have noticed several consumable items that have odd level requirements.
Kind of like, if you go to Legion at level 10 or 15 or whatever you can’t eat any of the food the vendors sell, lol.
My memory is suspect but I remember one or more of the recent expansions lacking newbie food and water.
I’m having the same issue. I got 2 off the AH and my lvl 50 (110) lock had 2 that I sent to this toon when she was lvl 27. The 2 from the Ah I was able to use but not the 2 from my lock. I get the message “You are too low level to use this item”. At lvl 36 I still cannot use them.
Display Error.
It’s like how numerous SL mounts can drop for level 51s, but have a level 60 requirement.
It’s like how the Tol Barad portal has a level 85 requirement display error, but you can use it at level 30 ish.
