Huge lag spike and constant disconnects

Hello! I’ve been having huge lag spikes issues for the past 5 days. I’m from Brazil and my ping is usually 130-140, but i’m getting 1600ms random spikes (and even more). Everyone is running in place until I dc. Never had an issue like this. I’ve bricked a few keys because of it, and it’s getting really frustrating. Just did an 11 Ara’kara in which I dc’d like 4-5 times and of course the key was bricked :frowning:

My internet connection is fine the whole time and everything else works great during the dcs/lag spikes. It’s just WoW that’s suffering from it.

Can any one shed any light ? Thanks a lot!

It’s looks like a fiber cable from Brazil to Miami, of course probably passing through areas affected by Hurricane Milton. Odd it has not rerouted your traffic through other areas though. Might try a VPN for the time being. Probably also affected by Helene the week before, that moved through areas I believe are in that path, but in the time frame you noted, that would have been when Milton made landfall.

Thank you for your answer! I’ll try that.

Lots of disconnects. I am tired of these disconnects. Blizz please step in and correct these disconnects. Is about time! I am not from Brazil and we did not have any hurricane here in Western Canada!?! This is not related to any hurricane. Is taking place way before this hurricane!

Then your connection is different than op, but I don’t see any information about your connection though. Unfortunately these connection issues can be tricky to track. Hopefully we can get down to your connection issue, just understand this is only player discussion, I’m just another player. you Might need to contact your ISP independently.
