Not every sentence written should be taken literally. the point is most of the rmt’ers are casual raiders so you have to ban them to fix it
You realise that frostfire guy and flaccidelf guy are both bigtime gold buyers; they even admit it and brag about it.
Casuals don’t “sweat” it. That’s why they’re casuals. They aren’t the ones swiping.
Sweats have mage alts printing gold in zf rn, casuals are the ones swiping for consumes/boosts
You’re wrong about that. A lot of casuals don’t enchant or use consumes. Some don’t even raid. What are they going to spend all that gold on? They don’t gaf.
Casual isn’t equal to bad, you’re getting those two mixed up. Even casuals can do the bare minimum
If your job is to keep the stock price of Blizzard on an upward trajectory, banning subscribed users is the antithesis of that.
Gold buying is bad, but it’ll never stop.
It’s funny how many people don’t understand this.
it’s true the problem has never been worse in the history of WoW
Fixed that for you
Casual has multiple meanings, you can be casual and still have all your consumes and enchants and buy boes off the AH. There’s levels to this. The people you think are hardcore are usually semi-hardcore at most.
You can also just be a bad player who doesn’t have consumes, or enchants, or bother farming proper gear, or read any of the guides posted in the last 20 years, and you can make it everyone elses problem to carry you through content because “it’s easy anyway”.
I mean its great. I’m glad they issued some slaps on the wrist. I wish they would perma ban gold buyers, it would instantly fix the game. But they never will…they make too much money from those players AND the botters that sell the gold.
As far as who is a gold buyer, be careful who you accuse. When I am truly playing this game I no-life it and farm crazy amounts of gold, totally legit. In classic TBC I was farming over 1000 gold per day doing the engineering gas thingy. I am sure tons of players have figured out how to make ridiculous amount of gold in other ways in any version of the game.
And Ive met plenty of people with low incomes who know how to budget for internet and this sub but have the sense to know that buying extras is out of reach and don’t purchase gold. It’s simply unaffordable. The ones you’ve questioned are outliers.
Gdpk ban was pretty bad. Now the l0 zerz ingame report and encourage the hate to people that are no lifers or just are good playing this very old Game. Legion of patétics
Statistics tell you thats far more unlikely than my scenario but go on i guess
The amount of people who’s budgets are so tight they can’t spend 10 dollars extra is so low its not even worth mentioning them.
So are you suggesting people with high income who play wow don’t buy gold because they are ‘responsible with money’? lol
High income not equals financially responsible.
Low income not equals financially irresponsible.
Where are these ‘Statistics’ you are citing?
im still here
Vast majority of 60s I see on Dreamscythe still ride lvl 40 mounts, even if geared.
Well yeah why spend 900 on a mount when we will have free epic mounts via pvp rank 11 in a month and change.
