Llol… Warlocks always think they are suffering when thats just not the case.
I guarantee you that Destruction Warlock is going to be meta for 3s. Expect every other class to focus the Warlock all match due to these buffs because if they don’t they will get deleted as soon as they let them free-cast. That was almost always already the case for a Warlock due to them already having strong damage, team utility, defensives, and crowd control toolkits.
Just because the class is good doesn’t mean we aren’t suffering.

Affliction literally can dot up an entire team and then Line of Sight the opposing team, in most instances, reduces the damage that the Affliction Warlock takes. As it is they do really decent damage and are not designed to be a bursty specialization. Consistent damage is their forte just like a Fury Warrior is similar in the fact their consistent damage is higher over a longer period of time and not bursty like that of an Arms Warrior. Completely different playstyle but very affective when properly applied.

You should definitely give Aff lock a try in Arenas during the current meta.
Then provide data on how they are actually weak in composition when they thrive on a team with an Unholy Death Knight and a Disc/Holy Priest being a rot comp that really ramps up in dampening. Picking your comp for your specialization is paramount.

The game right now is pretty much whatever team gets ahead on tempo stays ahead on tempo and wins because they go through cds faster
Aff has no agency in the first 20 seconds of a game
Trust me I know unh aff very well it is good into some stuff and AWFUL into others
Also, the spec is propped up by drain life single-handedly so I don’t see any iota of balance in the future without a redesign

You’re telling me an average player who has their kick and their disruptive tools bound can’t stop a one-spell school, ramp up, cast dependent DoT user from casting a vital spell like UA, let alone casting it on 3 enemies consistently? Especially now with the “worse” version of soul swap, it should be easier than ever to make it difficult for an aff lock to get UAs out simply by positioning well and using dispels punctually (not even including pseudo interrupts and kicks here).

I literally put reroll to keep subs OR buy boosts. I didn’t just say boosts. And even if you level a toon you still need to gear grind some. Stop getting all caught up on ONE facet of my point and get the overall point. Why do you think balancing varies so wildly? Why is there a new fotm literally every month? Even theyre stupid and can’t figure it out or they do it on purpose for the reasons I explained.
