I don’t think so. Maybe Soda can offer insight on this. Haven’t played my lock that much as of late to notice this.
I think most try and run precog, but that doesn’t really fix the issue. It just ameliorates their disadvantage slightly by forcing them to fake cast very often. I think precog is toxic for the game and shouldn’t be a thing, but that’s just my view on it.
Yeah ele + tranquil is a nice combo with aff, but then again it limits the spec’s comp variety which shouldn’t really be the direction for any class in PvP. Good design usually allows greater versatility and that’s exactly which aff lacks right now unfortunately unless they’re buffed to the extreme.
That is what they have done. Just buffed the other healers. And if a flat buff isn’t ok then a flat nerf isn’t either.
You are joking about dampening, right? You know they dramatically increased the rate at which it ramps up as well as when it starts. I have seen multiple melee classes getting clapped by an Affliction Warlock in the first minute of a match because the Warlock set up good CC and positioning.
