How do I delete saved layouts that I no longer want to show up in the dropdown list? I see where I can copy a layout by clicking the gear icon, but there is no option to delete the layout.

In the drop down where you can select layouts, look to the right of the name of the layout and you will see a faint red circle and cogwheel to delete and rename respectively.
It’s a bit hard to miss!
In the dropdown menu, I see “Delete Layout” (red circle) and “Rename/Copy Layout” (cogwheel), but only on the Pet Bar selection, which is above the Modern (Preset} and below any layouts I created and saved. There is only a cogwheel for the layouts I created; the only choice is “Copy Layout.” I’m puzzled. To clarify, the layouts I can’t delete are character-specific.

Same issue for me, there is no red delete button on character specific layouts. Hopefully they fix it.

Just be glad the game didn’t delete your account wide layout that you use on all your characters like it did to me.

I can delete Account wide as well but not Character specific. Deleting the Character Specific ones is what I’m needing.

Still broken. CHARACTOR SPECIFIC has a cap level. Once at cap you cant make any more.

A new bug to add to this - when ever I log in, or change charactors, ALL my hotbars are shoved in top left corner.

This is a pretty old post, but that is the section for the account wide profiles. They are talking about the character specific section which is above what you have in your screenshot. I see exactly what you see for the profiles in that section, but the section above that only only has copy as an option, no red x. Surprisingly still…

I navigated to C: Program Files (x86) > World of Warcraft > retail > WTF > Account > mygameaccountname folder > servername folder > character name folder > and deleted edit-mode-cache-character.txt and edit-mode-cache-character.old
This removes/permanently deletes all current saved character specific ui layouts.
I have two wow accounts on one battle.net account so there are two folders in my path. you used to could name your wow account a long time ago, i did, therefore i can’t specify what yours would be exactly in the filepath above.
