Https://wowarmory.com loads - your connection is not private

if I type wowarmory with https:// in front of it, I get a certificate error; loading wowarmory.com normally doesn’t produce this error?? wtf?

It’s a problem with their certificate, or it’s been tampered with, but the common name doesn’t match that of the cert. Since this will block nearly any standard user access at the browser, I would expect them to reissue and fix it soon, in a day or less.

Stay away until it’s fixed.

Thanks.

probably because they no longer use that domain anymore

They need to, typing wowarmory is much easier than typing - https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/

I haven’t typed a full URL in so long.

Yea, I always type wowarmory to get there lol

I didn’t even know that was a thing. I just go to the WoW website and type in a character name. :dracthyr_shrug:

I’m a bit surprised, tbh. I thought the Armory was gone a long time ago.

Idk your browser or settings, but for me I have the Forums and the WoW website bookmarked, and both show up when I type in “Bli.” I’m a Chrome normie though.

Typing Wow is so much easier for me than typing wor because I have other websites in my history starting off with ‘wor’.

For some reason typing bli doesn’t auto fill in the rest of the url but typing wow does.

Hmm, weird. Probably some algorithm thing, since it probably knows what I want.
