This is what happened to the game. People like this want things to be so simple and want to just click a button etc. you always had to manage the game and it was fine. I’m new to mage on an alt and went into raid finder and was wondering why I was spamming spells with no mana loss. The game is broken because of people like this that probably begged blizzard to dumb the game down to where it’s not even a challenge.

Well, the population is increasing in people and the disparity between intelligent people and dumb people seems to stay around the same, so Blizzard, over time, will definitely have to adjust the level of competency needed to play this game to account for, what I call, “stupidity inflation”.

Lol that’s funny and I guess leave it to a few to ruin the challenge.

I would much rather have to deal with mechanics than mana…

Thought a mage was like being Irish-fight and drink-fight and drink- or is that only when leveling.

(Commentary): I don’t mind them making mana management a thing again, just let us cast while moving.

Blizzard is slowly turning WoW into a zug zug fest . They are trying to copy Diablo 3 . Look at Torghast for a moment . Doesn’t Torghast look like Nephalem Rift in Diablo 3 ? No one wonder Torghast was add a time gate at the last moment .

Arcane still manages mana if that’s what you want. Otherwise the game has just shifted to different resource managements per class/spec. Casters finally stopped relying on fossil fuels and now use renewable resources. Using procs efficiently, not overcapping resources, etc. The challenge to play well has just shifted elsewhere.

You’ve never met this person or had anything to do with them. But sure, obviously this person is responsible for demanding everything in the game you don’t want. It’s all their fault.

If you like mana management so much, why aren’t you playing classic?

Blizzard is historically bad at making mana matter. Either it matters so much that you’re constantly running out, or it matters so little that you only go below 90% if you’re bursting.

New content.

why can melee swing weapons forever without getting exhausted? If you want casters to run oom… i want melee to not hit as hard if they keep swinging.

You can fix your title.

Yeah, whenever I play destruction warlock I’m sure I’m gonna want to deal with managing mana and soul shards. Tell me, do warriors have to do with managing rage and exhaustion? Do survival hunters have to deal with managing focus and exhaustion? Or how about paladins, with mana and exhaustion?

Also note, several spells for destruction are having their mana cost changed from nothing to 1%, a bit more for a few I think. This probably won’t do anything but it might be that destro can’t just spam spells for 10 minutes without running out of mana. Without being on the alpha or seeing someone test it themselves I can’t say.

Arcane doesn’t use a resource like soul shards, therefore it uses mana. Fire and frost don’t either, but I never see them go oom, which is something I don’t like much, maybe they do, I don’t play mage.

Obviously, every class needs a Souls-esque stamina bar. Attack 4-6 times, then hang back, then attack 4-6 times, etc.

Mana sucks, i regret playing mana classes in classic wow a lot and it’s major factor in my burnout there.

I played feral in classic. Ferals had to manage both energy and mana.

I stopped playing when my priest friend quit, tired of waiting for mana between every trash pack.

Was rough PvPing in BC with mana issues.

MoP was fantastic though, they had it right then.

I main both and obviously you don’t read enough forums I never siloed this person out I said people like this, which there are plenty of.
