HR and boosting are the same as GDKP

It’s GDKP with extra steps. You’re still paying gold for items. If valuable BOEs, mats and recipes are HR, and they’re sure to drop every run, then you’re paying that price for the loot you get in your raid or dungeon.

At least in GDKP the gold was split between everyone. In this system only the RMTers and greedy chuds are getting paid.

No they aren’t.

You can’t buy gear so HR is not the same.

Just don’t join HR groups. Make your own group.

How is someone in an HR run rmting?

Make your own group. Don’t reserve anything.

Yeah form your own group. HR after 10+ runs of losing the roll to what you need can make sense but it has to make sense. If you’re HR’ing reed as a mage, you’re unlikely to get healers for your ubrs for example.

If you HR Rend’s,felstriker,TSS, you better fill with as many non-rogues and warriors as you can, but bring too many casters and they won’t want to compete with a full raid for reed.

HR is a balancing act, and it’s up to the players on whether or not they choose to join.

Personally I don’t need UBRS for anything anymore, but I will heal full runs if I can HR skinning all 3 bosses. I have my own key so getting these groups to fill is easy for me since healers/casters love when one of the healers doesn’t need reed.

Thats just ubrs though. The only other HR I’ve seen is first orb on strat-live runs, which is whatever. It’s one orb out of a usual 3-6 that drop per run. Personally I’ll lead no HR strats and people love that theres no HR on any orbs. and HR on the ring from Princess, but goodluck getting anyone to join that.

They’re definitely not the same.

While I don’t agree with groups that HR items and dislike how ubiquitous it has become, I don’t have to join those groups, nor do you.

However, people may want to, that’s their right.

HR is not GDKP and does not promote TOS-breaking activity, given HRs are announced prior to instance and the group is in agreement, thus it should be allowed.
