Your spec is BORING. Maybe that’s why disc is more popular. I have a disc priest and I can just press the spec button “holy”, but then I’ll get bored. Why are we here now?
First of all, holy should stay good only as a PvE spec. Disc makes more sense for PvP since they’re more about damage. Guardian angel looks goofy af in arena; you can tell it was made for raiders. The fantasy and theming is just bland and uninteresting.

Nope. I’ve had this position since I started playing priest in shadowlands. Played disc, disc got nerfed and holy giga buffed. Tried out holy and fell asleep. Never played hpriest again.
Just a snoozefest spec. Maybe it’s good after going for a light jog and eating bran flakes for your height of the morning.
Yes that is much of the posting on this forum. Blizz usually says that they make class balance adjustments based on both their own gameplay data and player feedback. Many people want to be the “player feedback” that influences balance decisions, even if they are biased toward their own favorite specs.
Yeah I only have my disc as an alt healer for when I want to just chill and turn my brain off.
The PvP community has just been bigoted against rshams historically. Notice how everyone is like okay with hpriest being meta now? “it’s their time to shine guys”
Yet when rsham was good for 2 weeks and is now outshined by 4pc resto Druids and hpriest: “rshams overtuned!!!’ Ugh rsham meta!!!” …
This is why Rsham will never be a top dog ever again. They’re a subjugated spec through and through.
Exactly why Arms is less favored than Fury in Arena right now. It’s boring.
Holy Priest has been long overdue for a rework to make it more interesting, but at the same time, Discipline is just flat out BETTER because mitigation will always supercede direct heals in a PvP environment. Don’t need heals if you don’t lose health, right?
Yet after some time top players are now locking in as hpriest in 3s. So, it doesn’t really seem like it’s just fotm and actually just top 1. Lame.
Also, I think fury should be the PvE spec for Warrior and leave arms for PvP. Idk why you’d find fury more interesting. It seems even more straightforward than arms.
My fav healers are rsham/hpal mainly and im new to MW and find them a lot of fun too. But the meta seems to be headed toward hpriest/rdruid and then the rest of the healers. Maybe Pres evoker will be 3rd best.
Healer balance might not even be as good as we thought since we see like 9 hpriests at 2400+ then basically 1 or none of each other healer.
MW is still a meme healer from what I’ve been told. Don’t do well in a meta like this either. Idk how’d they buff them tho, their healing output seems strong. They probably need a class redesign because they don’t offer much utility at all.
I always play priest/hpal/rdruid and jump to rsham when i like the set.
For me hpal is the funnest healer that i play followed closely by rdruid.
Play mw in mop and loved it but it was broken with mistwalk lol

Guardian angel is such a strong CD I don’t get the hate here.
Holy also has a boosted hymn when spec’d into the POM hymn talent AND can be used out of LOS, not to mention a very low CD interrupt immunity, how is this not fun? Lmao
