Thinking about double leggo combos for next patch for holy in M+, with an emphasis on damage. For a little context, I run in a coordinated group with dedicated roles. The HPS loss from not running flash concentration hasn’t been a problem with my group so far. Currently averaging about 4k dps in 15-18 keys, but we hope to be pushing to 20s next patch.
I’m likely going to start with Sphere’s/HA in order to maximize the synergy with our new tier sets, the 60% more powerful holy fire, plus additional CD reduction sounds like a really nice potential DPS increase. I’m also considering going Sphere’s/Divine Image, it looks like it could be really powerful if the Naaru also duplicates your DPS spells. Sadly I have no experience with Divine Image so I’m unsure of how powerful it actually is.
What double legendary combos are you planning on running for M+? Does anyone have experience testing the above combos on the PTR? I’ve been unable to run any keys without getting DC’d constantly, and when I ran Boon/HA I wasn’t getting correct cooldown reduction from Mikanikos or the legendary, it was hard to tell which one was the problem with the issues I was having.
I mostly pug so FC is what I’ll be using cuz idk what players I’m gonna play with.

I’ll likely still use sphere/FC on really tough necrotic weeks, but I’ve been having a ton of fun running this damage focused build in high keys.
Spheres of Harmony Kyrian legendary is probably going to be your best bet for damage output in M+. Other than that, Holy Priest don’t really have much to boost their damage numbers. Even if they did, Flash Concentration is just too good right now to pass up, especially in higher keys. Just because of the way Restoration Shaman is tuned, they can afford to equip two damage output legendaries without struggling with heals.
The Kyrian Legendary is really strong because if you hit 5 targets and use it through the whole duration it’s a 48s reset after the ability wears off. You can Boon literally twice as often in a dungeon and if you stack high versatility + haste you can get a lot of casts off.
I was memeing low key dungeons doing 5-5.7k overall dps w/ Kyrian Legendary and now we’re getting a +15% damage buff on-top of the Chastise damage increase. I would say reasonable DPS range would be 5-6k+ at current gear level, but we’re getting a new iLvl increase so that naturally goes up.
There’s just going to be an utterly massive damage difference between Kyrian and the other covenants for Holy. They just nerfed the Necrolord legendary so it’s going to be crap for Necro H Priest. Night Fae doesn’t offer any damage increase and it’s legendary is the least useful for M+.
Kyrian is also pretty strong in PvP as well you can kill most DPS 1v1 with Boon up if they don’t CC you.

In low keys I’m doing similar damage, its kind of silly how under the radar holy has flown int erms of damage. Been playing holy all expac and I just discovered this build lol.
The Kyrian leggo is mandatory, I’m just wondering what other leggos yall would think to pair with them to help maximize more damage.
The 4 piece bonus gives an extra 60% effectiveness to holyword affecting spells, and works with harmonious apparatus. Thats why I’m thinking of pairing those two together, more chastises means more buffed holy fires, means more chastises again, and so on lol

Night Fae doesn’t do much damage directly, but on some classes, their -20sec CDR on major DPS cooldowns is potent. And with the Night Fae legendary in effect, that’s -40sec off a DPS’s major cooldown every 90 seconds. Pair that with a legendary like Twins of the Sun Priestess, and you’ve probably got the best ‘support’ combo in the game. Not to mention So’leah’s Secret Technique trinket being introduced at a competitive ilevel with M+ Tazavesh. You can use that if you really want to double down on power boosting one of your DPS.
Although the loss of Flash Concentration is a big hit to your HPS, Holy isn’t as dependent on covenant abilities as Disc is, so a full support build like this is only really possible on the Holy spec.

I’m guessing Spheres/HA will indeed be the play for key dps next patch, with holy fire buffed by tier set and chastise actually being decent.

I played Night Fae the whole first season of Shadowlands and the CDR was only good with Fire mages until they made their Combust CD longer and buffed up Frost so nobody really plays Fire anymore for keys. There’s not a lot of specs that you can properly synergise Fae Guardians CDR with.
The actual CDR doesn’t equal out to the massive damage difference provided by Boon of the Ascended though, especially with the legendary. Also, the CDR reduction with the NF Legendary doesn’t get reduced by 200%, but by 150% with the legendary. So you’re only looking at a -28/30s reduction instead of the regular -20s.

That was my thinking exactly. The wording on Divine Image makes it feel like it could be worth trying too though
Not really. It might possibly be the most useful for the cooldown reduction.
