hello Ya’ll im having some issues with my Hpally, im only 478 but i feel like no matter what i do im always constantly having to fight to stay good on the charts
my crit is around 51% buffed, haste 39, and mastery 38
so i have too much crit? am i ruining my Hpally by the crit?
in M+ my vers is 23%,
i really dont know what to do…is there something else i could do to increase my healing output?? im about to #roll druid lol

That doesn’t sound bad to me. Having said that, min/maxing stats is very rarely move the needle that much.
You can use a tool called Questionably Epic Live (Google Questionably Epic live and you should find it) to help with choosing gear. If you’re familiar with simming for DPS players, this is the closest thing we have for healing. It will help choose the best gear from what you have for the content you’re doing.

As some general advice, when I’ve questioned if what I am doing is right there are basically 2 main options:
- Read the wowhead, icy veins guide and see if there’s any big-ticket items you might be missing.
- If you have public logs, you can ask someone in the Paladin discord to review them. Google Hammer of Wrath Discord it should come up.
- If you don’t have logs or are too shy (like me
) then the next best thing to do is compare logs yourself. Look up the same fight on warcraft logs and compare their spell breakdown. You can usually get a sense of “I should be pressing this more”, or “I should be using that build”.
The sky is the limit in terms of amount of data you could look at, if that’s your thing. It can be hard though if you’re new to it.

What content are you struggling with, and is it just a question of being low relative to other healers in raid, or is it people dying in dungeons? If it’s the former, it may be that your raid team doesn’t need a whole of healing. If it’s the latter, it’s a bit harder to diagnose. As Westly stated above, sites like Questionably Epic and Hammer of Wrath discord can be very helpful. Also, one last question–your profile is a Classic toon, are we talking classic or retail?
