It feels great doing some damage to healing in the thick of battle as a battle healer - unfortunate that it’s every 45 seconds. I really want to see Avenging Crusader as a no cooldown 5 holy power spender with the numbers readjusted to make it balanced.

It’d be nerfed according to that increased uptime and start to feel increasingly like just a lackluster maintenance mechanic then, though?

Much better than swinging three crusader strike that does no healing and costs 30% base mana for 1 WoG I would think.

The 45s cd feels fine to me. I agree with Tanais.
I’d like to have divine storm as holy, so we can spend HP to do some dmg.

Ehh, a mandatory maintenance buff (which is what this sounds like) is not good for healers in general.
We are already GCD locked, and have too much crap to do as is, especially with maintaining HP.
What you are suggesting just adds to the already bloated rotation we experience in most content. We don’t need those kinds of changes. We need changes to our busyness and our terrible throughput outside of wings.

-make hammer of wrath work with AC
-add holy shock crit to veneration to reset hammer of wrath CD
-make judgment generate holy power so it works with fading light
-give a purpose to infusion of light by letting judgment and crusader strike consume infusion for bonuses (like lower cd or extra holy power or mana refund since fistweaving gets all of that)
-return harsh words as a damage spender for wog
Honorable mention to barrier of faith counting AC healing into its absorb since its purgeable anyway
