About 12k to go. I haven’t been in any raid groups at all. Been farming herbs in blasted lands (damn the prices dropped) and killing alliance (or trying to) along the way.
Been solo the entire time and I prefer the smaller scale PvP scene rather than the skilless mass aoe Zerg fest.
No idea how anyone is getting anywhere near that much… Sitting at only 4.5k or so between two characters after 1.5 days. Was about to just say screw it and wait for next week.
Every single fight is either 70 horde dumpstering one guy for 7 honor or less, or 20-70 alliance deathballing around while 15 horde all try their hardest to not actually form a group/raid, and basically play with the level of group cohesion that would get you kicked from an unrated Yolo rbg (special shout out to the mouth breather enhance at brm doors, who sees 6 horde warriors/rogues stuck in a nova just out of melee range from the mage who is now blinded and can’t escape, and frost shocks him from max range into the frost shield he didn’t purge, so he can immediately blink and clear intercept range)

I believe the honor per hour is better outside of a raid. If you kill a lvl 60 1v1 it’s 199 honor*, often times in a raid you’re getting like 6 honor per kill**.
In my grind I have spent a lot of time dead just because ain’t no-one winning a 1v30, but I tend to believe I am getting more honor per hour than the very raids that have killed me.
*At the time of writing while every character is rank 0
**Yes. I’m sure you have an anecdote about getting more honor per kill while in a raid, but that is almost certainly because the rest of your raid was too far away to share the honor
as horde, sitting on top of bank in ratchet for a couple hours netted me 10k honor lol

Pretty hilarious.
I unsubbed. First they trivialize rank 14. Then they didn’t put honor in at the start. Then delayed bgs a week. I’ve lost interest at this point. Nothing new though. blizzard always misses the mark on what players want. They try and force a play style they want just like they tried to force a mobile game no one wanted.
Combine that with a weirdo culture that prioritizes speed runs of 20 year old content that can be beat in blues and greens below max level and I just have no interest anymore.
I play to have fun. BGs are fun and we’re withheld. Raiding is supposed to be fun not a full time job farming consumes, spending gold to boon buffs, farming gold for boes etc. if you want to do that stuff, go for it. Be a hero on raids. I always come full buffs and consumes but the moment it became mandatory sweaty weirdos worrying about nothing but that, the game became unfun.
Oh well new EQ TLP in a couple months followed by MNM early access. I’m done with this company.

It’s pretty funny seeing everyone camp flight paths all day.
It is surprising the number of people who have not figured out that aoe/cleaving a player when they next to a flight master is a bad idea.
