This is my basic rotation, but I am a total noob, so… /shrug
Charge
Thunderclap to apply rend - Shield Bash - Revenge - repeat…Execute…
Avatar + Demoralizing shout on macro - Ravager if I pull a ton, or for Named
Shield block if you are actually taking damage, Impending Victory to heal if needed.
I don’t raid ATM, but I have a feeling leveling actually develops some bad habits, as it is so easy you rarely use some skills that will likely be a mainstay in M+/Raiding.
Yeah, I know what you mean about bad habits. I am trying to keep shield block up on CD as well as dumping extra rage into Ignore Pain so I don’t completely screw my finger habits once I hit end game.
Raid-tanking, you need to forget your DPS(at first) and make sure you’re hitting those Damage Reduction cooldowns correctly, then after that start finding the ways to add back in more DPS and not sitting at full rage etc.
Prot warrior is definitely the way to go for soloing. At least while leveling. A literal immortal god xD It has more sustain than fury/arms, and I still dont really see much of a kill speed difference. Arms definitely kills faster, but not nearly as much sustain. fury maybe on par with prot build I got.
Fury can kill elites a little faster, but when it comes to getting mobbed by a whole bunch of enemies (which happens often in WoW), prot kills faster than fury while being immortal.
Thanks, There is nothing better than doing HUGE damage with a Shield. I’ve been playing Prot in PvP for 16 years so it’s refreshing to have Talent trees back to theorycraft again. They soft inserted Glad stance so I been having fun as you know
Really hope to get M+ groups together where I can play Glad stance with another Tank and think we could do massive pulls and have fun. Even though it sounds unconventional.
I’ve had no problem killing fast or even players for that matter with the right build. Since your big hitters are doing 70-120k damage while you have amazing Aoe and sustain.
