What’s going on my neeps? How’s the PVP?
Been off doing other stuffs and got some time to waste online but Apex kinda blows and Hell Let Loose is awright, but doesn’t scratch the same itch. Worth doing some ebgs? Quick peruse of the forums and looks like little’s changed.

You might enjoy EBGs if you’re part of a queue syncing team. Otherwise no, it is not worth it.
Blitz is super fun. Only reason I started playing wow
It’s garbage and Blizzard doesnt care to address it. If you wanna join EBG’s then you will be joining against nothing but premade teams and the loss will be slow, unless you are in a premade yourself. BG pvp in this game has been destroyed for anyone who doesnt play with premades.

Agreed. I’ve never seen pvp in worse shape than what it is right now and no one seems to even acknowledge it, absolutely insane.
solo queue is the reason why pvp is such trash and you’re the reason they made the game the way it is.
As a casual pvper mostly I can say that rated pvp is at it’s most abysmal state ever. Rated BGB was practically the final nail in the coffin for RBGS. Rated play as a whole to me is a joke. I am no gladiator Andy but hear me out. Even in the 1600-1800 brackets you have lobbies where you will see 2-3 geared players with rating and then you have literally 3 un geared non- pvp experienced players. Sometimes those players have previous experience, most times they don’t. So that makes getting out of the 1800 bracket so much worse almost unattainable for the average joe like myself. Not because it can’t be done but rather due to the absolute mind numbing waste of time that it is. And that’s not even the 2k + brackets where people are waiting an hour or more for just one lobby. Imagine you are pushing your 2200 achieve and you land in a lobby with 4 geared players and one person in full greens / pve blues with no rating. That’s actually a real scenario. RNG or the end of the road??
I just came back, paid for a month and already cancelled, and it’s worse than when I left. I’m not sure how anyone at this company can see the numbers and believe they’re doing a good job in any aspect.
I am wondering if you are talking about shuffle, blitz, 2s, or 3s, but “1600 - 1800” is considered the starting bracket at the current inflation. If you are at this rating, you are very likely to see new players because that is simply where the starting MMR is dropping them.
If you get dropped in with poorly geared players you are bound to outperform them if you are better than them. Especially in shuffle, if a player in your lobby has full greens and is bound to go 0-6 that still means you are coming out ahead with a 4-2.
I’ve been as high as 2500 and can’t say I’ve ever waited over an hour for a lobby.
If I get a lobby pushing for 2200 and I get someone in greens, they likely are doing something that got them there. It’s very rare but occasionally happens when someone who is good at the game shows up that high with no gear.
He probably hasn’t done enough games to leave placement games.

Auggy, Beary, rest of the crew, hope they’re still a feature. Might drop in now I’ve paid for a month. But gahhh. … gotta rebuild all the add-ons. Maybe I’ll just sit in trade or at Goldshire pub being annoying.

All forms of PvP in retail are terrible these days.
The only time I play WoW retail is when I have had more than 5 beers and hanging with good mates in discord
It’s alright, well actually I’m having fun. Just get good gear. Don’t expect to have fun if you are under geared tho.
This is the first time that I stayed subbed for longer then two weeks at season start . Did blitz now I’m just enjoying randoms. Even if they can get hectic
This is a very accurate observation. I have a total of about maybe 60-75 games total this season. It is very possible my perspective does not reflect your user experience.
